My favorite moments and pictures from 2017

Every year I look forward to this post.  I love looking back at the year that was. I will be honest…this post is mostly for me.  It’s my chance to collect all my favorite moments and put them in one post.  These are not a collection of just my favorite pictures.  Mostly these images were chosen because they mean something to me and I want to remember them.

To all of my amazing clients…

I want to say THANK YOU.

Thank you for trusting me to capture important moments in your lives. Thanks for letting me in.  It means everything to me.

Enjoy…

You can check out the blog post here.     A magical ending to this wedding at The Grand Willow Inn    A maternity session turned surprise proposal!  So awesome!   A beautiful moment after the first look at Bellewood Acres.  You can check out this wedding here.  Here is proof that even tough looking guys can get emotional as their bride comes down the aisle.Little Cecelia may not have lived a long life but she had a big impact. I will always remember her and the courage of her parents.  Mothers of the bride and groom share a sweet moment right before the ceremony.    Now that is what I call a first kiss!  Check out this wedding here!  Jake is pretty proud of what he wrote in his letter to Hannah.  No first look here…they just spend a few moments together with a screen in between them right before the ceremony.   A groom watching his bride dance with her father.  I love moments like this. This one is pretty special.  You see this senior was a flower girl in my wedding.  Makes me feel proud and old at the same time.  🙂    If you all knew the number of lives this family has positively influenced over the years you would know that they are real life heroes.    The long walk down the aisle… One last hug before she gets married… I would love to know exactly what this father was thinking as he watched his daughter dance with her husband.  So many emotions.

My guess is he is experiencing pride, joy and sadness all in one moment.  I love moments like this. Not everyone wanted to do the jumping shot.  🙂     The emotion that was present for Bethany and Jason’s wedding ceremony was moving.  Simply beautiful.Couples that laugh together…stay together.  😉Another first look with Dad.  So good! Sisters…. I love this so much.   Jennifer’s parents cut their own cake at this very spot, on this very table.  Talk about legacy and tradition. It’s not everyday you get to photograph a little owl during a wedding day.  The animal encounter at the Woodland Park Zoo is pretty cool!
