I, like a lot of people, get really sentimental this time of year. Thinking back to all that has happened this past year always brings feelings of nostalgia. I have been so incredibly blessed with so many amazing clients. I am so thankful.
With that nostalgia firmly in mind I selected my favorite images of 2015. It was no small task. Now don’t be tricked into thinking these are all my best images of 2015. Most of these are my favorite moments of 2015. Many will bring a smile to may face or a tear to my eyes.
Most of these images have not been staged at all.
All are 100% authentic.
No styled shoots.
Just real life.
I find the best images come when I simply get out of the way and let life happen.
Enjoy….
Pretty sure this is the first time she has been able to wear makeup…I think she likes it!
This might be my favorite image of the year. A father and daughter looking at each seconds before she walks down the aisle. Doesn’t get any better than that!
A quiet moment in a busy room…
No caption needed… 😉
Father/daughter dances get all the press…this time the mother of the bride takes center stage.
Ahhh..the way she looks at him.
I love this moment…so good!
So much emotion in one image.
I think the little man approves !
Grand entrances are fast becoming my favorite part of wedding receptions!
These boys took their jobs very seriously!
Again..the way she looks at him.
Epic grand exit!
I love quiet romantic moments in a busy crowd. Pretty sure these two didn’t notice anyone around them.
This little man had the best seat in the house and he had no intention of giving it up. So awesome!
I love this candid moment of Marit looking out the window a few moments before the ceremony.
Mother/daughter moments can be just as great as father/daughter moments. But they usually happen behind the scenes.
I think Ben is happy with what’s happening here…
Another one of my favorites of the year. Emotional mom after receiving a surprise rose from her daughter.
These two smiled and laughed throughout the entire ceremony. It was so contagious!
Best grand entrance of the year goes to Jibin & Priya! Epic is the only word that comes to mind.
I love this first look before the ceremony.
and I equally love THIS first look as she comes down the aisle.
I love candid moments like this!
There is nothing like a bride’s joy on her wedding day.
An emotional moment right after they took their first communion together. I love this moment so much!
I love that Ruby & Ryan included the little man in their sand ceremony. I think he liked it too…
I love this moment right after the father/daughter dance as the groom looks on.
Caught this little moment right after they walked back down the aisle.
I think this was the year of the mother/son dance. So awesome!
My buddy…Josie Joy!
You can’t tell but as I was shooting this image a very large crowd had gathered right behind me to watch. I am pretty sure that Marit & Dave didn’t even notice.
I love doing a first look with the dads as much as I love doing them with the groom!
Almost everyone was smiling…. 😉
And again…the way she looks at him.
Caught this little moment when they thought nobody was looking…
Moments right after the ceremony.
How awesome is Julia…winking at her groom as she walks down the aisle. So awesome!
I don’t always remember the toasts. This one I will always remember.
There is a first for everything. After over 120 weddings…this is first time I photographed a bride wearing roller skates. Awesome!
I honestly can’t tell if that is joy or fear on his face. Maybe a little of both!
I hope to get this same gift from my daughter on her wedding day.
Instead of doing a first look they just shared a quick moment around the corner.
That is one classy dog.
Ben wins the prize for best facial expressions during a wedding ceremony!
I think Tom was impressed…
and yet again…the way she looks at him!
Well, what did you think? 🙂
